Welcome to Buchanan Orthotics

Established in 1925, Buchanan Orthotics Limited is the largest Orthotic contractor in Scotland with a total of 39 staff, including 6 Orthotists and 2 Orthotic Practitioners, supplying both the NHS and private patients with the full range of orthotic products.

In addition we are registered with NHS PASA for supply to the NHS in England.

We have always manufactured bespoke orthotic products and in 2001 launched our Steprite range of modular footwear as we recognised that there was a requirement to introduce some more modern styles. Since its introduction Steprite footwear has been very successful, and our designers are constantly updating colours and introducing new styles to allow more patient choice.

We operate a Quality Management system to ISO 9001:2000 standards which is registered with BSI and all our stock products carry the CE marking.
