Buchanan Orthotics is an independent orthotic provider to the NHS, providing patient-focused clinical services. In addition to this, we have private facilities and clinics.
Buchanan Orthotics are looking to recruit an Orthotist to join their established clinical team, which comprises of12 Orthotists under the responsibility of an Orthotic Lead. The position would be based in NHS Fife.
We wish to recruit an Orthotist with at least 2 years’ experience, ideally the successful candidate will have sound orthotic experience and be able to manage their own clinical caseload.
Whilst working individually, there is excellent scope for development in specialist clinics and multidisciplinary working. Workload is varied and includes caseloads across community and outpatient settings with a wide range of client groups.
We encourage a close working environment with our technicians and fully support regular time in our manufacturing facilities. In addition, support with continued professional development designed to build, facilitate and enhance individual clinicians.
